This inventory will be collected using GIS & GPS technology and will be maintained using the ESRI ArcGIS suite of software. Work on this project will begin in the next few weeks.

Sterling Catholic Cemetery to map out the burial plots in the cemetery. Digital photos of headstones will also be incorporated into the mapping application. Once complete the data will be maintained by cemetery staff using an online application Mid-West GIS is developing for the Springfield Diocese using ArcGIS Server technology. Work on this project will begin immediately.
