Mid-West GIS has just completed our most recent Traffic Sign Inventory project in the City of Westerville, Ohio. This project was contracted earlier this year and completed in April. It included the GIS/GPS data collection of over 7,300 signs on 168 miles of city maintained roads. The data included the location of each sign, as well as 15 different attributes for each sign and support. Using our new CFMOTO 950 Trail UTV has become the safest and most effective way to keep our technicians out of traffic and avoid vehicle accidents. We no longer have to hold up or inhibit traffic during data collection, making it safer and more efficient than ever before.
