Mid-West GIS to create GIS website for Springfield Diocese.

The Springfield Diocese has contracted with Mid-West GIS to create an ArcGIS Server website to handle the over 100 catholic cemeteries in the State of Illinois. The site will include developing a database that will allow user to edit and manipulate database information related to ownership and burials in each cemetery. Mid-West GIS will also begin to develop map information on some of the cemeteries involved. This project is set to begin in late April or early May of 2011.

Downers Grove Traffic Sign Inventory Project.

The Village of Downers Grove, Illinois has contracted with Mid-West GIS to complete a traffic sign inventory for the Village. This will be done using GPS data collection, with over 15 attributes collected for each sign. This will meet the regulations from the Highway Safety Administration for a inventory/maintenance system by January 2012.

Calhoun County Illinois Traffic Sign Inventory

Calhoun County, Illinois has contracted with Mid-West GIS to complete a traffic sign inventory for the County, Townships and all Municipalities. This will be done using GPS data collection, with over 15 attributes collected for each sign. This will meet the regulations from the Highway Safety Administration for a inventory/maintenance system by January 2012.

East Moline, Illinois contracts with Mid-West GIS for Traffic Sign Inventory

The City of East Moline, Illinois has contracted with Mid-West GIS to create a Traffic Sign Inventory using GPS & GIS data collection. This inventory will meet and exceed the mandates set forth by the Federal Highway Safety Administration that requires a maintenance system be in place by January of 2012. This project will begin in January of 2011. Mid-West GIS has successfully completed over 250 Traffic Sign Inventories in the past 4 years.
